About Our Outstanding Sixth Form

Harris Academy South Norwood Sixth Form, in partnership with Harris Academy Beulah Hill, offers co-educational, high-quality teaching in a positive learning environment where all students are encouraged to strive for academic excellence. Our Sixth Form provision has been rated as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.

Harris Academy South Norwood Sixth Form offers an ambitious, academically rich education that enables students to excel and progress to exceptional destinations. Our expert teachers, high expectations, and carefully sequenced curriculum create a culture where students develop deep knowledge, intellectual curiosity, and the independence needed for success beyond school. Sixth formers thrive in a calm, purposeful environment, with a dedicated study base and library providing fantastic spaces for independent learning.

16 to 19 study requirements 

All students study three A Levels or equivalents, choosing from 4 options blocks.

All students who have not yet achieved a GCSE grade 4 or higher are required to resit English and/or maths, and study those subjects for three periods a week.

All students will partake in work experience to develop knowledge of career choices and apply skills in a real-world setting.

Every student also participates in Tutor time, giving students other activities designed to build character, broader skills, confidence, and support progression.
