Life at HASN is shaped by our strong sense of community, high expectations and commitment to developing the whole child. We celebrate success, promote responsibility and prepare students to contribute positively to society.

We believe in recognising both achievement and effort. Our rewards system celebrates students who demonstrate excellence or improvement in:

• Attendance
• Attainment and progress
• Behaviour and attitude

Students are recognised through:

• Certificates and achievement badges
• Speedy lunch passes and VIP exit passes
• Rewards such as pizza parties, breakfast clubs and cinema afternoons
• Reward trips and celebration events

Each term builds towards a year group rewards assembly in which students are recognised for their growth throughout the term. This reflects our values of Endeavour and Responsibility, encouraging students to take pride in their progress and achievements.

Celebrating Talent

Student talent is celebrated both academically and creatively. Through sporting fixtures, students represent the school and develop teamwork, resilience and pride. In the performing arts, students showcase their creativity through productions, concerts and our annual school musical.

These opportunities ensure that every student’s talent is recognised and nurtured.
