We are the top-performing mixed school in Croydon and Bromley for Academic progress. This means that students do exceptionally well here, whatever their starting point. Whether your child has their sights set on Medicine, Dentistry and Oxbridge, or entering the world of work ready to take up a fantastic apprenticeship or training opportunity, at HASN they will receive the support they need to thrive. Over 80% of our Sixth Formers go on to University, with many in recent years accessing some of the best institutions and courses in the country.

At HASN, we have extremely high expectations of student behaviour. We expect every child to work hard, communicate with respect, and take responsibility for being on time and ready to learn. We believe that consistent, fair and clearly understood standards of uniform and behaviour and fundamental to establishing a great environment in which to learn, so we’re uncompromising about our rules and routines. However, we also understand that some young people may need more support than others and we ensure the time and resources are there to enable every student to meet these high standards.

We also believe school should be fun! Students at HASN love being here, and that’s because of the fantastic student experience on offer. From incredible trips (including annual residentials and overseas visits) to our vibrant extra-curricular, performing arts and sports programmes, there are boundless opportunities for students here to find their passions and hone their talents. Likewise, we believe in the importance of recognising and celebrating achievements, and through our vibrant rewards systems we continuously look for meaningful ways to acknowledge, motivate and inspire our students on to even greater accomplishments.
