How to Report an Absence

Parents and carers are requested to notify the school of any absence for every day of their child’s absence. 

To report a child's absence or medical appointments for students in years 7 to 11, please call: 0208 405 5070, and press option 1, or email: attendance@harrissouthnorwood.org.uk, or you can also send a text or Whatsapp to 07710 173 759. Please state your child's first and last name, and the reason for their absence. 

 

To report a child's absence or medical appointments for students in sixth form, please call 0208 405 5070, and press option 2.

 

If you wish to request a special leave of absence, for example to attend a funeral, you will need to fill in an absence request form here

 

This must be completed well in advance. The final decision whether to approve will be made by the Principal.
