Norwood’s Got Talent 2026: A Spectacular Showcase of Talent
On Thursday 15th Ocotber, the Norwood community came together for another unforgettable Norwood’s Got Talent, a fantastic celebration of the creativity, confidence and talent of our students. With tickets selling out in under four days, the event proved to be one of the highlights of the term and a wonderful way to round off a busy half term. The evening began with a stellar performance from last year's winner Yasmin.
The audience was treated to an incredible variety of performances, including stunning singers, energetic dancing, an impressive Tae Kwon Do demonstration and talented school bands. Some of our teachers took on the role of judges, with the audience voting to decide the overall winner. Adding to the entertainment was Mr Thomas, who embraced his role as our very own Simon Cowell, providing plenty of memorable moments throughout the evening.
After a fiercely contested competition, the winners were Year 11 band Terms & Conditions, whose electrifying performance of Beggin’ by Måneskin brought the house down. In second place was Afua (Year 11) with a brilliant rendition of American Boy. Third place went to our 2024 champions, Year 9 rap duo Nye & Leah, performing an original song, while Daisy (Year 9) secured fourth place with her beautiful performance of The Winner Takes It All.
The evening concluded with the much-anticipated Teacher Masked Singer competition. After a dramatic showdown, DINOSAUR (Mr Comerford) was crowned champion, triumphing over SHARK (Mr Blysmith) in a crowd-pleasing finale.
Every performer demonstrated remarkable courage, dedication and talent, and they should be incredibly proud of what they achieved on stage. A huge thank you goes to all the students who took part, the staff who helped organise and judge the event, and everyone who came along to support. The atmosphere was electric throughout the evening, and the enthusiasm of the audience made the event truly special.
Congratulations to Mr Adams & his team and to all our performers for making Norwood’s Got Talent 2026 such a memorable success. We are already looking forward to next year!
