National Youth Music Theatre Workshops Inspire Performing Arts Students

In September, our Performing Arts students enjoyed a fantastic day of workshops led by an Associate Producer and Musical Director from the National Youth Music Theatre.

Throughout the day, students worked with industry professionals to develop their skills in performance, acting and storytelling through song. Through a series of engaging practical workshops, they explored how performers bring characters and narratives to life, while also refining their stage presence, vocal performance and acting techniques.

The sessions provided a valuable insight into the performing arts industry and gave students the opportunity to learn directly from professionals with extensive experience of musical theatre production and performance. Students embraced every challenge, demonstrating enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to step outside their comfort zones.

The workshops were an inspiring experience for all involved and further strengthened our commitment to providing students with high-quality enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom. The National Youth Music Theatre sessions will really help our students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed as performers.
