Fantastic day of mock interviews at with amazing volunteers 🙌🏿🙌🏿 The students get a lot of key information from these sessions, but for the volunteers it is a chance to put themselves in somebody else's shoes and understand the challenges face. https://t.co/zwVzuCXvuK

Travel Arrangements

It is expected that students will make their own way to and from the venue. It is customary for them to do group bookings of limos which drop them off outside. Should parents/carers wish to drive their son/daughter to the Prom, there is a parking area for the venue.

Supervision

Students will be supervised by both teaching staff from the Academy and professional security staff. There is a strict no alcohol policy – students will have no access to any alcohol during the Prom. Please note that we may carry out random searches to ensure all students comply with this rule and to promote the health and safety of all students at the Prom.

Photos

During the prom, photos will be taken by a professional photographer who will take portraits of individual students or pairs, using professional equipment.

All photos will be placed in a secure file-sharing website and parents will be sent a link and a password allowing them to access the Prom photos. In this area, you will be able to choose which photos you want and transfer them onto a USB. Boots have photo machine facilities that allow you to print from a USB and photos are printed on photographic paper allowing for the best quality. In particular, Boots in Croydon supply Self Service Instant Photo Development using a USB; their sizes are as follows and printing prices range from approximately 0.39p - £4.00 depending on sizes [small (6 x 4 ") , large (8 x 6 ") and x large (10 x 8)].

This arrangement means that students only print the photos they want but, most importantly, save money as usually companies charge about £20 for three photos.
