Explore the oceans (5 Day Project)

Have you ever wondered what it might be like to explore the oceans, to dive amongst the tropical coral reefs, and to be able to recognise the fish around you?

This could well be your chance to learn to be a Marine Biologist. During this 5 day programme you will have the opportunity to:

  • Undertake University level courses in Marine Biology identification.
  • Visit the aquarium in order to put in practice your new found learning.
  • Learn to be a PADI Emergency First Responder (often Marine Biologists have to work in remote locations and are far from easy medical help).
  • Go scuba diving.

This will be a challenging week but with challenge come great opportunities.

Because this experience includes the opportunity to go diving, you will need to meet the medical criteria, must be comfortable in water and able to swim 100 metres unaided in order to take part in the diving part of the week.  However, should you wish to take part in the rest of the week and not take part in the diving this will still be possible.
