World & Citizenship
Welcome to the Hub for World and Citizenship studies, I am the Assistant Principal with responsibilities for the Hub and student leadership and it is part of my job to co-ordinate all the students’ activities within this area. We have worked really hard to establish a student centred hub which supports all students in the faculty. Our hub also leads the academy on student leadership and I am glad to report that we have a thriving student forum at the Academy.
All students are supported by a rigid pastoral system which has personalised learning at the core of its design. We want to lead the Academy in regards to punctuality and attendance figures and to this end all tutors are rigorous in monitoring our tutees. In a few short months we have already developed a family spirit within the hub and aim to maintain this spirit throughout the year.
