Year 8 Options Evening

HeaderBar-HASN Options

Options evening (27th April)

Year 8 Options evening is on Thursday 27th April 2017, during the evening you and your son/daughter will be given an overview of the options process by the Executive Principal. You will be given further advice and guidance about the actual choices your son/daughter will be making.

Options evening starts at different times for different groups of students. You will have received an options letter in the post. In this letter you will have been given a time to arrive at options evening. The time you have been asked to arrive corresponds with the talk you attend.

Select the talk you are attending above to see what subject/choices your son/daughter can make.

During the evening each subject area will be hosting a stall about their subject. This will give you and your son/daughter the opportunity to ask any questions you may have face to face.

Representatives from learning support services will be in attendance as will representatives from the academy leadership team, and the careers team, they will be available to speak to you if you require specific guidance and support.

At the end of the evening you can make option choices straight away, however if at the end of the evening you decided you would like a little more time there will be a further week for you to submit choices via the academy website.

We very much look forward to seeing you on the evening of the 27th April.
