History Project a Great Success

Students enthusiastically entered into the spirit of the Middle Ages during innovation week this term. They took part in a variety of Medieval themed activities, such as, learning a Medieval dance, creating a coat of arms and preparing a banquet fit for a King! We even had a visit from Arriere-ban Historical Experiences, who let the students examine weapons from the time. Students behaved in an excellent manner and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Not only that, students have been really motivated by the homework project this term, to create a model representing the areas studied in class. The students worked really hard to create Medieval Castles and World War One battlefields. Students enthusiastically entered into the competitive side of the project. Some students went as far to make their models out of cake! Vice Principal Ms Kattenhorn said that the standard of the castles made, is higher every year.
