Fashion Show

The Design and Technology department are hosting Diversity Day to help raise money for the Tanzania Trust. The academy is working with the trust to help build a school in Tanzania. All funds raised on the day will go the this fund. AT the same time this will give us a tremendous opportunity to promote students work which they have produced throughout the year. There will be various events going on.

The Art department will be hosting an art exhibition to also display students work and we will be staging a fashion show, which will showcase students' work from our enrichment programme such as T-shirt design and jeans to skirt design with appliqué and silk screen printing. In addition it will include costumes that the Art Department made for our production of "Grease!" as well as fashion from local independant designers.

Local traders from local businesses are participating in the exciting work we are trying to achieve at the academy. As a result, some of their merchandise will be on show and available for purchase. We will also be running a food hall, to show the diverse range of foods from five different cultures chosen by the students. Students will then run stalls where they will sell the food that they produce. As well as the academy local business will be providing foods for purchase.

Tickets can be bought at Harris South Norwood Reception.
