Cheerleading at HASN
From 23-25TH April, the Academies cheerleading team which consists of girls from yr7-yr9 attended a PGL cheerleading residential in Surrey. They took part in a range of different workshops learning new stunts, lift and chants and were given the chance to perform on the Sunday afternoon. The girls worked solid for 2 days rehearsing a new routine and were given the opportunity to be coached by Professional cheerleaders, even the coaches commented on how enthusiastic the girls were and how confident and professional they were when rehearsing.
During the Saturday night the girls partied on down at the disco and even impressed the cheerleaders with their locking and popping dance moves! The girls behaved brilliantly all weekend and were a credit to the Academy. All 3 cheerleading coaches didn’t want to leave our group and said they would remember them forever. Well done girls!
