An Introduction to film

Love Films?

Whether you prefer action or horror, romance or comedy, this is for you.  Students will watch and discuss clips from a variety of film genres and learn how filmmakers grab an audience's attention with movie stars, stories, camera angles, music and posters.  You will create your own Hollywood blockbuster idea, writing a plot and casting actors. 

The project includes a trip to the cinema to see a film and learn tricks to become an expert film critic.

 

What you need to bring?

A packed lunch for the day of the trip.
