HASN Success at the Spelling Bee

A superb performance in the Federation Spelling Bee!

What is a Spelling Bee? The earliest printed reference to spelling bee dates back to 1825. However, children had been engaged in competitive wordplay for years beforehand. Frank Neuhauser won the very first Scripps National Spelling Bee in 1925

Our Spelling Bee team was lead by Sharee Brisset and supported by Valecia Crew, Nicholas Robinson and overseen by Claudette Pilarchie. A brilliant effort

Yesterday a group of 4 students entered the Federation Spelling Bee competition and we were placed Third in the Federation: a huge honour and one that makes me very proud.

The students have worked extremely hard and represented us well, in true HASN style.
