Special Effects
Special effects make up
Day 1 will be based on character make up. You will learn how to use wax to change the shape of your nose and how to use latex and greasepaint in order to look like you have wrinkles. You will also use contouring to visually change the shape of your face so that you look like somebody else. These are all important skills to learn if you want to work in Theatre, TV or Film as a make-up artist.
Day 2 will be dedicated to learning special effects make up inspired by horror films. You will learn how to make yourself look like a zombie, Frankenstein, a vampire or even a ghost!
This course is not suitable for those with sensitive skin or those allergic to latex.
What you need to bring?
Old Clothes (both days)
Clothes that you don't mind ripping if you want to be zombies on Day 2.
